Campus Lighting Project

LET THERE BE “LIGHT”                                                                                                                                            Phase Three of the Visitation Parish Outdoor Lighting Project was completed just in time for the annual Visitation Dinner. This project included; new pole lamps at the school, Parish Center and on the north and south sides of the Church. Bollards were also added to the entrance of the Parish Center. All of the outdoor lighting is computer controlled to reduce energy use. Older fixtures will be removed to further reduce energy use. The completed project was designed to dramatically reduce energy use and cost while substantially enhancing safety. Special thanks are extended to Joe Vandecoevering for his support and hard work throughout all the phases. Thanks also to Don Herinckx, Art Vanderzanden, Codi Reed, Blake Landon, and many others for assisting with Phase Three. These new fixtures should provide beauty, energy savings and enhanced safety for generations of Parishioners and Visitation Students. ~Lyle Spiesschaert, Project Coordinator
