“Verboort: A Priest and His People” is now available for purchase.

NEW BOOK ARRIVES IN TIME FOR CHRISTMAS

I’m pleased to announce that my latest book,“ Verboort: A Priest and His People,” finally arrived here this past week. Copies will be on sale this weekend  at the convent after the Saturday evening and Sunday morning Masses for $55.00. Please make all checks payable to “Visitation School Tuition Fund”.

Next week this book, and others, will be on sale at the convent until Christmas Eve. Please phone the convent prior to arriving. I will have two copies of each book on display in the vestibule of the church this weekend for you to peruse.

A book signing will be held in the Parish Center on  Sunday, January 9, 2011. I will autograph books that day after the morning Masses in the Parish Center which will coincide with the   Parish Breakfast for our 8th Grade Retreat. I will sign books until 3 pm for out of town guests. I would like to thank the school parents for hosting this signing.

I’ve had a thousand books printed this time around, and if all are sold we should have over $50,000 raised for tuition assistance for families enrolled here at Visitation School. To help build this fund, we will accept whatever donations you may give for such a worthy cause.

God bless all our loved ones who have gone before us in faith, and God continue to bless all of us who strive to follow their lead.
