Principal Blog

Dear Parents,

Welcome back to a New Year! I hope you and your family had a wonderful Christmas holiday. We are ready to start this New Year with many important events for our         students and for Visitation Catholic School.

Please join us! All parents, parishioners, and teachers are invited to come to our Strategic Planning Meeting on Saturday, Jan. 8th, from 9:00 A.M. to 11:00 A.M. in the 7/8th grade classroom. We will be brainstorming ideas for the future of Visitation Catholic School and our 3-Year Strategic Plan. We would love to hear your ideas for Visitation so that we can build a shared vision for the future of our school. Categories of discussion will be:

1.       Enhance Academic Excellence

2.       Maintain Traditions and Christian Values

3.       Maintain and Expand Enrollment

4.       Modernize and Expand Facilities

5.       Expand Funding Strategies

You are also invited to come to the Parish Breakfast    on Sunday, January 9th from 8:30 A.M. to noon in the     Visitation Parish Center. The breakfast proceeds help to support the 8th grade retreat and the 7/8th grade OMSI submarine fieldtrip. The menu includes: French Toast,  Verboort Sausage, applesauce, and assorted beverages. It promises to be a great breakfast and will be served by our very own 7th and 8th grade students. We hope you can make it! Thank you for your support of Visitation Catholic School.

May God bless you!

Carol Funk, Principal
