Principal Blog

Dear Parents,

Thank you for the wonderful Teacher and Staff Appreciation Luncheon. The food was delicious! We thank all of our parents  for helping with setup, cleanup, watching the classrooms, and making the wide variety of food dishes. We appreciated the  special time to eat together.

As we approach the end of the year we have many exciting       activities to look forward to. Next Tuesday, June 7th at 6:30 P.M., the fourth through eighth grade will be performing their musical production of “Beauty Sleep”. We hope you can join us for this creative and entertaining musical play.

June 16th, the last day of school, will be our school Field Day. The students participate in field games from 8:30 A.M until 11:15 A.M. Then a picnic lunch is provided by Parents Club for all students. Dismissal time for this day will be at 12:00 noon. Several parents are needed to help supervise the field day activities and to help with lunch. If you are available to help with the activities on June 16th, please call the school office to have your name added to the helpers’ list.

On Sunday, June 26th after the 10:00 A.M. Mass, all families are     invited to a retirement celebration for Father Scott. We thank  Father Scott for his eight years of service to Visitation Parish    and School, and we will miss him very much. He has shared many stories with our children and has brought them many words of wisdom.

As a reminder, it is now time to turn in the registration form for the 2011-2012 school year. More forms are available in the school office if needed. On the very positive side, we have had many new families interested in Visitation Catholic School. If you  know of a family that might be interested in Visitation, please  encourage them to call for a tour of the school.

God bless you and thank you for your support of Visitation Catholic School!
