November 6- 32nd Sunday in Ordinary Time- Matthew 35:1-13

There are only three Sundays left in our Church year. The gospels for each of these three Sundays comes from Jesus’ last teachings before he suffered, died, and rose from the dead. Each of these is about the necessity of being ready for God to enter into our lives and what we can do to be ready. Today, in the Gospel of Matthew, we hear about five people who were prepared and five people who were not.

  • What kinds of things do you do in your family to prepare when     special people are coming to your house?
  • What do you do to make people feel welcome when they come to your house? This could be grandparents, aunts and uncles, cousins, playmates, or grown-up friends.
  • What kinds of things can you do to be prepared for Jesus to come to your house at any time?
