DO NOT FORGET TO TURN IN YOUR POP TABS BY THIS THURSDAY, FEBRUARY 2ND !
Our help is needed by the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Oregon and Southwest Washington. This charity provides temporary housing to families of children who are hospitalized due to serious illness or injury. The pop tabs we collect will be delivered to them and they, in turn, recycle the metal. This service project is an easy way to help your children participate in making a positive difference in their community. Classes will be competing to see who can collect the most tabs through Thursday, February 2nd and the prize is BIG! The class that collects the most tabs will win 3 days of free dress. The second place class will receive 2 free dress days and the third place class will receive one free dress day. The entire school can earn an additional day of free dress if we meet or exceed our school goal of 80 pounds of tabs. Ask your friends, family, and neighbors to collect for you and start bringing in those tabs!
