Letter from the Principal

Dear Parents,

Congratulations to our second grade class, in the receiving of their First Holy Communion! Please continue to pray for them as they grow in their faith.

This week we celebrate our wonderful teachers with Teacher Appreciation Week. I give thanks to our fabulous faculty and staff for the sacrifice and service they provide to Visitation Catholic School. The professionalism and experience our teachers share as they teach our children is very  much appreciated. I also thank the parents and students who support our school staff, assist us, are patient with us, and challenge us in our mission to nurture and educate our children with faith in the future.

We are down to the final few exciting days before the auction! Basket preparations are in their final stages, and we appreciate the many volunteers who are helping to organize the auction and serve our guests. The class projects look great and are very creative with each child’s unique design showing. If you get a chance, be sure to look at the class projects before they sell the night of the auction. We look forward to a fun Saturday night that will be “A Knight to Remember”!

Next week, Thursday, May 17th, the kindergarten through eighth grade will be sharing their spring musical performance, “A Tale of Two Curses”. All are invited to attend the program which will begin at 6:30 P.M. The students are asked to arrive in the gym at 6:15 P.M. to find their places and get settled before the program. Please see the newsletter for the costume colors that the students should wear. We hope you can join us!

Thank you for your support of Visitation Catholic School!

Carol Funk, Principal
