May 31st is the Feast of the Visitation of the Blessed Virgin Mary. This day is called the Visitation of the Blessed Virgin Mary because Mary visited her cousin Elizabeth, whom, as the angel had told her, God had blessed with a son in her old age. We can feel the rush of warmth and kindness, the sudden urgency of love that sent Mary hurrying over the hills to help Elizabeth. When Mary greeted her cousin Elizabeth, John leapt for joy in his mother’s womb. This feast reminds us to be charitable to our neighbors. In honor of this special feast day, Visitation Catholic School students will be watching an all-school movie on Our Lady of Fatima.
We are continuing with our registration process for the 2012/2013 school year. Last week, information about tuition assistance grants was mailed to all families who had applied through FACTS.
