On Monday, March 11th, the 7th and 8th grade class worked for the Oregon Food Bank in their perishable foods department. Together they worked to repackage 2,432 pounds of perishable food into family sized portions. This food will provide about 2,037 meals to people in Washington County. This is especially helpful during this “record breaking” year of hunger, as Oregon Food Bank is seeing more need for food assistance than in years past. Great work 7th and 8th graders, a special thank you to our parent volunteers!
