Congratulations to our second grade class and to Kyle in the receiving of their First Holy Communion! Please continue to pray for them as they grow in their faith.
This week we celebrate our wonderful teachers with Teacher Appreciation Week. I give thanks to our fabulous faculty and staff for the sacrifice and service they provide to Visitation Catholic School. The professionalism and experience our teachers share as they teach our children is very appreciated. I thank the parents and students who support our school staff, assist us, are patient with us, and challenge us in our mission to nurture and educate our children with faith in the future.
We are down to the final few exciting days before our Friday and Saturday night auctions! Basket preparations are in their final stages, and we appreciate the many volunteers who are helping to organize the auctions and serve our guests. The class projects look great and are very creative with each child’s unique design showing. If you get a chance, be sure to look at the class projects before they sell at the Saturday night auction. Class projects will be available for viewing at the Friday night Family and Community Auction. We look forward to a fun Friday and Saturday night that will be “A Knight Under the Stars”!
Thank you to those parents who have already turned in your comments and revisions for Visitation’s Mission, Philosophy, and Schoolwide Learning Expectations. We appreciate your quick response and help with our school’s accreditation process. We ask that all comments be turned in by Friday, May 24th, so that we can consider all ideas in the rewriting process. Copies of the Mission, Philosophy, and Schoolwide Learning Expectations were sent home in last week’s Wednesday folder and will be emailed again today.
The deadline for the Jog-A-Thon monies due for prize eligibility has been extended by one week to Friday, May 24th. This will allow time for per lap donations to be received.
Thank you for your support of Visitation Catholic School!
